Yes, Halloween is next week, but I felt like getting a start on Christmas cards…

This card uses IN colors and the “Lovely as a Tree” stamp set. I think Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss make a lovely combo for Christmas! I will confess, the embossing powder on the tree is not SU!, but I think it works great as ‘frost’/’snow’. It’s called “Pearl” by Top Boss. If SU! made an EP close to this, I’d use it. Iridescent Ice is too sparkly for the effect I wanted and white EP is too….well, white. Everything else is Stampin’ Up!  – including the yummy Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon (it’s SO pretty!!) The image on the RHR card is stamped in VersaMark, from the Lovely as a Tree set. The tree was stamped in Always Artichoke, then overstamped in VersaMark, then heat embossed with EP. Layers were punched with the corner rounder, exept for the bottom right of the Very Vanilla, to add interest. Shading around tree was done by sponging So Saffron and Chocolate Chip.

I think this would be a great workshop card!

Ingredients:

CS: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Very Vanilla
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Snow Swirled (sentiment)
Ink: Always Artichoke, VersaMark, Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron
Accessories: Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon, corner rounder punch

Enjoy!
