This card sort of evolved from wanting to do something with my Aquapainter (and something different with Fifth Ave. Floral).

This one uses Stampin’ Up! Watercolor paper (it’s wonderful to work with!), with an image from Fifth Avenue Floral stamped in Jet Black Staz-On. The coloring was done with my Aquapainter and a variety of inks (pulled from the lids of the ink pads). Because of the shading and layering of color, I couldn’t even tell you all the colors I used. The watercolored panel was mounted onto Old Olive and Regal Rose card stock, that was edge distressed with my craft scissors (then pushed a little bit with my bone folder and fingernail). Chocolate Chip grosgrain dresses it up. That was mounted onto Chocolate Chip card stock and finished with a rub-on sentiment from the Chit Chat rub-ons collection.
Thanks for all that have shown concern (and patience) with my lack of recent postings. I’ve had one thing after another! I spent my entire spring break writing the summer school curriculum for math. Literally, eight hours a day! I’ve also had a conference that I went to, workshops/classes, and now my daughter is home for her spring break and my stamp room does double-duty as her bedroom when she’s home!
One of these days things will settle down! I’m hoping to sneak in there in a few minutes (she is out for the afternoon) and whip something up. That is, after I move all of her “stuff” she brought home for the week, which has taken over my craft table!
Don’t forget – Sale-a-Bration is almost over! Order through my web site, or call me to get your order in. Remember, for every $50 you spend, you get a FREE Sale-a-Bration product! If you are interested in becoming a demonstrator, Sale-a-Bration is an AWESOME time to sign up. You get 15% off the Starter Kit, a FREE stamp set of your choice (up to $47.95), AND now, you can split the cost of your Starter Kit into THREE payments! (Don’t worry – they send you your kit with your FIRST installment.) It does not get better than that! I’d love to have you join my Happy Stampers family! Don’t forget, all my new recruits get an additional $20 catalog credit, from me, as a thank you for signing up! You can sign up online, or if you’d like to use the three-payment option, give me a call at 314-225-8199 and we can put together your info by phone (IMPORTANT: for the easy-pay option, it MUST be mailed in, it cannot be done online!!)
Have a great day! Happy Spring!!

As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been very busy (which is a good thing!) I’ve decided to post a few things in one post, so you can see what I’ve been up to!
At Lisa’s workshop this weekend, we decorated candles:

This was made using stamps from Garden Greetings. The ink is Regal Rose and Rose Red. Silver brads add some pizazz!
I visited one of Sarah Klasing’s workshops (my upline) – she was maximizing the Sale-a-Bration selections in this darling card:

This one also includes a lot of techniques: heat embossing, Big Shot Texturz Plates, and punches. I love that SAB ribbon and paper!
My February thank-you cards:

This uses the set Cheep Talk and Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, and Chocoate Chip inks. The bottom was punched with the Scallop Edge punch.
My March thank-you notes:

This one uses the Top Note die with the Fifth Avenue Floral and Sincere Salutations stamp sets. The large flower was heat embossed with clear EP (tip: put your stamp in Versamark, then into your ink. The clear EP will stick!) The edges were sponged with Sahara Sand ink (the same color the small flower was stamped with). The sentiment was stamped in Chocolate Chip. Silver elastic cord dresses it up.
That’s all for now! I’ll post more of the cards we’ve been making the past couple of weeks, soon!

I’ve been very, very busy working (both my teaching job and my Stampin’ Up! job). Sale-a-Bration is so much fun, isn’t it?! I’ve had some great classes and workshops in the past week alone (3 and counting!) – everyone is so excited about the products, the free items that can be earned, and even becoming a demonstrator! If you do not have a demonstrator, but would like to join in the fun, you can order online at my Demonstrator Web Site jennmaloney.stampinup.net or email me at stampingjenn@gmail.com . If you would like to receive the Demonstrator Starter Kit for 15% off (PLUS a FREE stamp set of your choice, up to a $47.95 value – PLUS $20 catalog credit from ME) – now is the time! My downline enjoys lots of support and advice, plus as much inspiration as I can provide!! If you think this opportunity is for you, just email me – or go to jennmaloney.stampinup.net and you can sign up online. Just enter code “Happy Stamp” to start customizing your kit! With the free stamp set and $20 in free merchandise as my gift to you as my downline, you are getting about $450 worth of product for only $169 (plus tax – but FREE shipping)!!
I will be posting in the next couple of days with some GREAT projects and ideas from my recent classes and workshops. I also had the privilege of attending one of my upline’s workshops this weekend. I am so blessed to have such a talented, motivating, FUN upline in Sarah Klasing (::waves to Sarah::) – she’s generous with her time and talents and you can see it in her customer’s faces – they love her and her great projects! I will be posting a couple of her cards (one is an idea she borrowed from me – but made it even better!) That’s the main thing I love about Stampin’ Up! – those connections with family and friends that are built through the process of doing something that we love. I’ve made lots of new friends and built closer friendships with those I already knew, all while we create together. Ladies, it doesn’t get any better than that!
So – enough blabbering from me! I just wanted to let my dear blog readers know I’m here and I will be back this week (two words: Spring Break!) – so check back and thanks for your patience and understanding!
