Purple Grace…

When I got Season of Simple Grace, I envisioned the three wise men in gold on a purple background. To me, these colors are so rich and elegant. While (as usual) – this isn’t the card that I originally set out to create, those three kings look lovely in gold!

Talk about hard to photograph! Purple can be challenging on camera, as it is. Add shiny gold embossing and the shimmer of Stampin’ Up! Brushed Gold metallic card stock and this one was tricky to get on film (albeit digital). This one stands out much more in person with it’s vibrant colors and lustrous golden accents.

It’s so hard to see, but the edges of the navy and eggplant are distressed. The edges of the gold oval and far left side of the gold middle panel are sponged with eggplant ink. The words on the oval are embossed, otherwise they just blended into the CS.

I just love this stamp set!
