Kiwi Twigster – and last day for rub-ons promo…

Here’s a set I don’t use as much as I thought I would…so, I dusted Mr. Twigster off and came up with this:

He’s stamped in Chocolate Chip on Whisper white. The scarf and carrot nose were colored by pulling ink with a blender pen (Bashful Blue and Tangerine Tango, respectively). The edges of the oval were sponged with Kiwi Kiss ink. The sentiment is done with rub-ons! This is from the “Season of Cheer” pack. Frosty Day dsp gives this some fun color. The Kiwi Kiss card base was stamped with the small snowflake from Snow Flurries in white craft ink.  Alpine ribbon in chocolate chip felt (this is so warm and fuzzy!) dresses this up. TIP: I did not wrap the ribbon all the way around the back of the layer, since it would make it WAY too thick. Instead, I only wrapped it around enough to secure it. Also, to attach the Mr. Twigster layer, I put two dimensionals (one on top and one on the bottom) – and I used a small glue dot in the center, attaching it to the ribbon. This makes for a smooth layer, without any funny bumps.
Simple and cute!

  1. I love Mr. Twigster and this card is perfect! Great combo with the DP and the felt ribbon… love that he’s mounted on the ticket punched piece too.
