Sometimes when I’m making a card, it occurs to me that I could not possibly include one more technique…this was one of those cards…
It includes distressing, masking, coloring with a blender pen, sponging, rub-ons, stamping off, and punches. This set has such an old-fashioned feel to it, so I looked to bring out classic, rich colors with a time-worn feel. The rub-ons give both the sentiment and the tab that special touch.
Stamps: Winter Post, Lovely as a Tree
Card Stock: Kraft, Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Old Olive
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, So Saffron, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Alpine ribbon, Season of Cheer rub-ons, curly label and scallop edge punches
