One of the best (and most fun) parts of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is that we can pre-order items from the new Idea Book & Catalog – before it is officially released! I’ve been out of town, so I haven’t had the opportunity to play with my new “goodies”. Finally, I was able to sneak a couple of hours in my stampin’ room….
This card uses the soon-to-be-released set called Pennant Parade. It is designed to work with the new Pennant Punch. I can see SO many possibilities for this combo! Ice cream scoops, Christmas trees, and of course, cute little “banners”, as I’ve done here. The “Wish Big” sentiment is also from the Pennant Parade set. You may have also noticed the “Happy Birthday” sentiment. It is from the brand-new Hostess set called “Happiest Birthday Wishes”. It features 11 different birthday greetings, each very unique. Some are designed to work with our punches for easy greetings!
The new Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper adds just the right amount of festivity to this bright, cheery card! This DSP features Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Wild Wasabi, Baja Breeze, and So Saffron – making it very versatile. I used a base of Peach Parfait for this card.
Of course, no card is complete without a decorated envelope! Some simple stamped pennants, connected by doodled ‘bows’, completes the look!
